As part of the evaluation of the flu and COVID-19 vaccination programmes, we have produced a report on factors affecting uptake of the COVID-19 vaccine.

The report comprises:

  • summary of findings
  • recommendations to the programme
  • next steps

The report includes findings based on:

  • examination of vaccine uptake in children and young people, younger adults, minority ethnic groups, and lower socioeconomic groups
  • analysis of variation of delivery methods and appointment booking methods by socioeconomic status and ethnicity
  • regression modelling of likelihood to receive a COVID-19 vaccine by age, socioeconomic status, and ethnicity
