1. Further to the below slide in a Public Health Scotland presentation ‘drug related death – surveillance update’, please provide all information Public Health Scotland holds on the reasons that there were “595 [deaths] awaiting further information”.

2. How many of these 595 cases were subsequently confirmed to be drug-related deaths, and how were these accounted for in subsequent reporting on drug-related deaths?


3. Was the information about the 595 further cases awaiting further information reported publicly (a) at the time of publishing the known drug-related deaths or (b) since? If so, please provide a link to this reporting. If not, please provide information on the reasons for this.
