“We would like to re-open the question of accessing Scottish Hospital Medicines Usage data.
Could you please advise whether:
- HMUD is still a live data product
- if so, whether we should request extracts via an IR or FOI; and
- whether there are any timescales now for publication of this dataset as open data
The information we are requesting under the FOI act or as an IR is the same as we requested in 2021, vis:
Geography: Hospital level, all available locations - or Health Board level summary if not available
Products: all, at lowest level of granularity available, minimum VPID
Frequency: monthly data, with an initial historic dataset containing the most recent 24 months.”
