“In light of the recent quarterly waiting times statistics that were published by Public Health Scotland on 28th November, 2023, I would like a breakdown of the number of patients who are on NHS waiting lists for the following orthopaedic procedures: a hip arthroplasty, a hip revision, a knee arthroplasty and a knee revision (these are the definitions used in Public Health Scotland's Scottish Arthroplasty Project report).
As such, can I request the following, for the financial year 2023/24 (to most recent):
- The total number of referrals for a a) hip arthroplasty, b) hip revision, c) knee arthroplasty and d) knee revision
- The total number of patients currently waiting for a a) hip arthroplasty, b) hip revision, c) knee arthroplasty and d) knee revision.
- The total number of patients waiting over 52 weeks for a a) hip arthroplasty, b) hip revision, c) knee arthroplasty and d) knee revision
- The total number of patients waiting over 78 weeks for a a) hip arthroplasty, b) hip revision, c) knee arthroplasty and d) knee revision
- The total number of patients waiting over 104 weeks for a a) hip arthroplasty, b) hip revision, c) knee arthroplasty and d) knee revision”
