“I would like to request data for drug-related deaths in Scotland for years 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020. I would like to request these data stratified by age, sex, and selected drugs reported. To clarify, I would greatly appreciate if the data could be provided which would allow - for example - the analysis of the number of males aged 32 who died as a result of heroin/morphine-related drug-related death in year 2017.
The selected drugs I would like to request be included are: "heroin/morphine", "methadone", "heroin/morphine, methadone or buprenorphine", "codeine or a codeine-containing compound", "dihydrocodeine or a dihydrocodeine-containing compound", and "Any opiate or opioid".
Presently these data are available stratified by sex, age, and selected drugs reported in age groups which are not compatible for the analysis which I am aiming to perform.”
