Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic, declared by WHO on March 11, 2020, caused monumental changes in health and social care delivery globally. Restrictions varied by country, but many could plausibly affect rates of bacterial antibiotic resistance. There is limited published research to date robustly evaluating this impact.
