Abstract
It has been assumed that people with asthma would be at a high risk of developing severe illness from coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), despite a lack of evidence. Social isolation measures have aimed to mitigate this risk to vulnerable groups, however such interventions can have negative mental health impacts.
