About the vaccines

The vaccines routinely used in Scotland are: 

The first dose of MMR vaccine is offered when children are aged between 12 and 13 months old. This is usually given alongside the pneumococcal, Hib/Men C and Men B vaccines. 

The second dose of the vaccine is usually given when children are aged 3 years 4 months. Children are also offered the 4-in-1 vaccine at this time.
