The National Forum on Drug-Related Deaths (NFDRD) established the National Drug-Related Deaths Database (NDRDD).

The NDRDD collects detailed information about individuals who have died a drug-related death. This information includes:

• gender, age and drug use history of the individual
• health status
• social circumstances
