  • the average length of stay for people discharged from a psychiatric hospital with a dementia diagnosis, decreased from 175.3 days in 2017/18 to 144.3 days in 2018/19.
  • 6 out of 10 (62.4%) people, who were admitted from their home to hospital with dementia were discharged back to their home. This is similar to 2017/18 (59.6%).
