The yellow fever vaccine must be given at centres that are designated by the health administration for the territory in which they are located.
Public Health Scotland (PHS) has the legislative authority to undertake the designation of Yellow Fever Vaccination Centres (YFVCs) in Scotland.
This information pack:
- sets out the conditions of designation (COD) for YFVCs in Scotland
- provides information for those planning to become or already are YFVCs
- provides information on completing an International Certificate of Vaccination or Prophylaxis (ICVP) and requirements for record keeping
- has guidelines for storage and administration of yellow fever vaccine, resuscitation and anaphylaxis
