Description
Motor vehicle traffic is a cause of road traffic injuries and wider population health concerns in Scotland, such as air pollution, noise and physical inactivity. This umbrella review presents a conceptual framework of the application of a public health prevention approach to road safety. The work provides an overview of synthesised research on the effects of road safety interventions on collisions, injuries, deaths, and wider public health outcomes.
