Understanding the experience of multidisciplinary team (MDT) practitioners in relation to the primary care reforms was one of the main outcomes of interest in the Scottish Government's Primary Care Outcomes Framework and local evaluation plans.

PHS conducted a survey to find out how MDT practitioners are working with general practice (GP) teams across Scotland and whether expanding the MDT groups within primary care was having a positive impact in Scotland.

This second report presents the findings from the Scottish MDT feedback survey, run in six local NHS boards between May 2022 and March 2023.

The first report presents the findings from a GP feedback survey about whether expanding MDT staff groups within primary care was making a positive difference to their work, practices and patients.
