Abstract
Abstract Follow-COVID is a study of over 100 patients across multiple regions within Scotland over the course of 6 years. The study seeks to identify the long term consequences and future care needs of COVID-19 survivors. Documentation As COVID-19 is a new disease, there is a need to identify the long term consequences and future care needs of COVID19 survivors. Follow-COVID has recruited over 100 patients and has used blood testing, urine, respiratory samples, and tests of blood vessel function to measure the long term consequences of this disease. The study consists of a preliminary patient visit, followed by a second in-person visit several months later. There are then phone call consultations 1 year, 2 years and 5 years after the first visit, giving a longitudinal view of the progression of symptoms and long covid.
