“I am writing to formally request information on the annual quantity (kg) of 9 chemical substances in drugs prescribed in Scotland since 1990, if any, for scientific research purposes.
The 9 target chemical substances are: Ibuprofen, Ivermectin, Ketoprofen, Erythromycin, Clarithromycin, Carbamazepine, Amoxicillin, Chloramphenicol, and Flubendazole.
Although certain data on the prescribed drugs are available on the Public Health Scotland website (Prescriptions in the Community), the data seems to describe rather the payment and quantity of drug items but not the quantity of substances.
