Abstract
The frail elderly are considered high risk for COVID-19 but, for some, the stay at home policies intended to protect them have threatened their wellbeing and disrupted their support systems. Those without close family or friends are most vulnerable. Recognising this, we aimed to introduce a dedicated service to support the health and wellbeing of the frail elderly in Midlothian, Scotland.
