Abstract

In this paper, we report the experience of the project #MDDFcon-traocorona“, an educational action with communication media in vulnerable communities in the ABC region of São Paulo. We formed a committee with favela residents and specialists in education and communication and, through a fully remote collaborative process of design, production and distribution, six educational podcasts on COVID-19 prevention directed to the reality of isolation and misinformation in favelas were produced. Interviews with the residents allowed us to assess nuances in promoting changes in knowledge, skills, attitudes and sociabilities.
