COVID-19 Variant of Concern

As reported by Scottish Government on 28 February, three cases of a COVID-19 Variant of Concern first identified in Manaus, Brazil, have been identified in Scotland. Public Health Scotland (PHS) continues to work in collaboration with other Public Health Agencies in the UK to learn more about Variants of Concern.
The latest information on the number of such variants detected by genomic analyses across the UK (external website) is published by Public Health England.
