A timetable for the re-opening of parts of society over the next two months has been set out by the Scottish Government. The priority of the Government in doing this is to suppress the virus to the lowest possible level and keep it there, whilst striving to return to a more normal life for as many people as possible.
The dates for each phase of lifting restrictions are dependent on the vaccination programme and are enabled by emerging evidence on vaccine efficacy.
