Upcoming changes to COVID-19 reporting

As part of our continuous review of reporting, Public Health Scotland (PHS) will implement some changes to our COVID-19 Weekly Report and Daily Dashboard in the coming weeks.
From 8 December 2021, a new look PHS COVID-19 and Winter Weekly Report will be published each Wednesday. The refocused report will support the reader in drawing insights from a wider range of existing metrics around COVID-19 and winter pressures.
In another change, we will move to 5-day (Monday to Friday) reporting of the PHS COVID-19 Daily Dashboard from week beginning 6 December 2021, with weekend trend data now being reported on a Monday.
Headline figures will remain available on the Scottish Government website (external website) 7 per days a week.
