Director Appointment: Strategic Planning and Performance

Public Health Scotland (PHS) is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Kellet as its new Director of Strategic Planning and Performance. 

Michael will join PHS on a two-year secondment from Scottish Government, where he is currently the Director for Population Health.  

Angela Leitch, Chief Executive of PHS, said: 

"Michael has an impressive 26 years’ experience working in public service in Scotland mainly within Scottish Government. There he has taken on a range of key roles over the years including in health, resilience, and education. I am very much looking forward to working with Michael, who will pick up a wide range of priorities as we continue to mature and develop as an organisation".

Michael said:
