​​​​​This release presents provisional information on Cryptosporidium infection in Scotland in 2019. This is compared to previous years’ data to show trends over time. 

Main points:

  • during 2019, there were 502 reports of Cryptosporidium
  • this was a slight decrease on the 536 reports in 2018
