Description

This report and executive summary report early findings from the PHS Parental Employment Project. The project is a partnership pathway designed to widen access to NHS employment for lone parents in Scotland.

The report highlights strong early outcomes for participants. These include improved confidence, wellbeing, skills and financial stability. Inclusive recruitment, flexible working, SVQ training and wraparound employability support these outcomes.

The report identifies key lessons and recommendations to strengthen delivery. It also informs wider adoption across NHS Scotland and beyond. This would contribute to national ambitions on child poverty reduction and fair work.
