The Rapid Action Drug Alerts and Response (RADAR) local guide provides areas with guidance on how to develop and operate their own local drugs early warning system (LEWS) to support effective response to reduce drug-related harms.
The suggested processes can be adapted and edited as required by each area.
The appendices in the guide are also provided here as downloadable Word templates to assist with recording processes and communications.
This resource has been produced as part of RADAR, Scotland’s drugs early warning system.
Additional information on local drug incident management can be found in our Guidance on the management of clusters of drug related harms.
