Abstract
The Core UK decision-making and political governance module of the UK COVID-19 Public Inquiry opened on 31 August 2022. It is split into parts, with Module 2A looking specifically at the perspective from Scotland.
Counsel representing Public Health Scotland (PHS) made this opening statement on 16 January 2024 outlining PHS's role during the pandemic and commitment to assisting the Inquiry.
