Abstract

This is poster presentation that was created by staff from Public Health Scotland. The emergence of the Omicron variant of concern (B.1.1.529) coincided with the advent of the 2021 festive season. Early evidence suggested it was highly transmissible. We conducted a rapid public health risk assessment using surveillance data to inform advice to the public on the Christmas party season.
