Abstract
We have identified a number of legacy lessons based on a synthesis of our
evaluation findings which we believe are important considerations for any future
vaccination programme in Scotland. These high-level lessons generated from the flu and COVID-19 vaccination programmes represent new insights and innovations and reaffirm existing best practice that could be transferable to other programmes.
More detailed evaluation findings and recommendations on the flu and COVID-19
vaccination programmes have been shared with programme stakeholders on an
ongoing basis to inform service improvements. These are referenced in our other
evaluation reports which are available on the COVID-19 vaccination programme
evaluation page of the Public Health Scotland website.
